Situated within the extensive grounds of the private property in Chester-Le-Street, the home spa complex is housed within a newly constructed single storey building.
Mapei systems were used to waterproof all areas throughout the building, including the adjoining shower and changing area, and to install all tiled surfaces. The specification included: Mapelastic Smart – a highly flexible, cementitious waterproof membrane; Mapenet 150 alkali-resistant glass fibre reinforcing mesh; Mapeguard WP 200 alkali-resistant waterproofing and anti-fracture membrane and Mapelastic AquaDefense – a ready to use, flexible, ultra-rapid drying waterproofing membrane. |
