Mapeplast R14 SP is used for the production of concrete where a slower rate of cement hydration is required. Mapeplast R14 SP is suitable for pours in hot weather because it prolongs workability, for large pours, for concrete made in batching plants and pumped concrete. Mapeplast R14 SP is an admixture with a base of active polymers in a water solution. Add Mapeplast R14 SP directly into the mix, after all the other ingredients (cement, aggregate, water). Mapeplast R14 SP can also be added to the mixing water, but in this case the plasticising effect is less effective.
Dosage 0.2 - 0.8 litres for every 100 kg of cement.
