On January 15, 2024, MAPEI marked a historic milestone with a celebration of its “All-Time Sales Goal” at the newly opened Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The event, a testament to the company’s dedication to excellence, brought together employees from the United States, Canada and the Caribbean – as well as esteemed guests from Italy, such as MAPEI Group’s CEOs Marco and Veronica Squinzi – to commemorate achievements, bid farewell to retiring colleagues, and announce exciting collaborations, including a high-profile partnership with Andretti INDYCAR for the 2024-2025 season.
The full-schedule day began with Luigi Di Geso, President and CEO of MAPEI North America, welcoming everyone to the event and congratulating all on the shared success. Marco and Veronica Squinzi took the stage to share their vision for the company, as well as their growth plan for continued success, which included the famous MAPEI pillars – innovation, internationalization and sustainability. Then, it was time for the grand showcase of MAPEI’s diverse product lines, each taking center stage to present their unique contributions to – and be recognized for their role in – the company’s success. The presentations also highlighted and introduced new products from each line. From innovative adhesives to cutting-edge mortars and grouts, MAPEI’s comprehensive range of construction solutions has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry, and this event celebrated that fact. Each of the product lines had its own distinct presentation, complete with videos and interactive audience participation.
As MAPEI celebrated its grand sales goal achievements, the event also took a heartfelt pause to honor retiring employees who have dedicated years of service to the company. These individuals were recognized for their hard work and significant contributions to MAPEI’s success. The retirees are Kevin Carroll, Director of New Business Development (20 years); Mike Granatowski, Director of Architectural and Commercial Projects (23 years); Kyle Murphy, Director of South Central Sales (25 years); and Bruno Boulanger, Director of Sales OEM (37 years).
In a poignant moment, each retiree was recognized on stage and thanked by Di Geso for their commitment over the years. As they step into a new chapter of life, MAPEI expressed its sincere thanks and best wishes for a rewarding retirement.
Excitement and anticipation filled the room as the renowned racing legend, Mario Andretti, took the stage as the event’s keynote speaker. Drawing on his illustrious career and the values of speed, precision and teamwork, Andretti inspired the audience during a question-and-answer session with Di Geso, during which Di Geso announced a thrilling collaboration – MAPEI’s partnership with Andretti INDYCAR for the 2024-2025 season.
The crowd erupted in cheers as Di Geso unveiled the details of this high-octane venture, emphasizing the shared commitment to excellence that MAPEI and Andretti INDYCAR bring to their respective fields. The partnership represents a fusion of cutting-edge technology, speed and precision – core values that resonate deeply with both entities. After the Q&A session, Marco and Veronica Squinzi joined them on stage and Andretti presented all three MAPEI executives with helmets commemorating the moment and the announcement. The specially designed helmets feature the MAPEI logo, the Andretti logo and the 2024 sales meeting logo.
The celebratory event not only reflected on past achievements but also cast a vision for MAPEI’s future. Executives and key stakeholders outlined strategic initiatives, new product innovations and ongoing commitments to sustainability that will continue to drive the company’s success.
