Waterproofing your basement wall, your deck or balcony, or your floor before tiling just got easier with MAPEI’s waterproofing solutions.

To protect your basement wall from the hydrostatic pressure coming from the other side of the wall, Planiseal 88 cementitious coating is the product for you. Apply two coats, following the directions on the product’s Technical Data Sheet, and your basement wall will be protected.

Decks and balconies are especially challenging when it comes to installations over occupied spaces. MAPEI offers two system solutions with Mapecoat Deck products – one that incorporates our Planiseal CR1 waterproofing membrane and one that incorporates our Planiseal 288 waterproofing mortar.

After applying Planiseal CR1 or Planiseal 288, apply two coats of Mapecoat Deck T coating or Mapecoat Deck S coating to finish your deck or balcony.
