MAPEI auditor workshop: Continuously improving on improvements

As part of MAPEI North America’s efforts to continuously improve its Business Management System (BMS), a workshop to enhance the competence of BMS internal auditors took place over the first week of November at MAPEI North America’s headquarters in Deerfield Beach, FL. 

MAPEI facilities are already certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; the implementation of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) is moving forward as well, and our auditors need to be prepared to face this challenge.

A full three days of training were provided that covered OSHA regulations and process improvements, as well as strategies to build rapport and teambuilding.

“The organization of this workshop demonstrates MAPEI’s understanding of the important role that internal auditors play in the success of our BMS,” said Gianpiero Cancelli, Director of QEHS Management Systems. “They are key players in ensuring our operations and activities permanently satisfy our customers, protect the environment, and guarantee the safety and health of our employees.”
