MAPEI North America’s Technical Services Department recently hosted a summit meeting for all North American Tech Services colleagues at MAPEI Corporation’s corporate headquarters in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The event encompassed two full days of presentations and hands-on trainings. Technical Services Director Jim Whitfield presided over the event, including the presentation of the Tech Services MVP Awards for 2020 and 2021.
“Because of COVID, we had to delay the awarding of 2020’s MVP award until 2021,” Whitfield explained. “So, this year we awarded two MVPs. Gilbert Cadena, Lead Floor Covering Installation Systems and Wood-Flooring Specialist, was awarded MVP for 2020, and Monelle ‘Mo’ St. Surin, Technical Services Claims Coordinator, is our 2021 MVP. Congratulations to them both.”
