Basic requirements for pedestal estimations/takeoffs

Area/perimeter

  • Provide a drawing in PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG or GIF format. If a sketch is provided, ensure that it is clear so that it can be replicated with the software.

  • Clearly mark and identify the area where pedestals will be used.
  • Clearly show the perimeter sizes.

Elevation/slope

  • Provide the elevation/height at the lowest points, at the drains, or at the perimeter if water drains toward it.
  • Clearly mark whether the elevation includes the thickness of the flooring material.

  • Indicate the slope percentage and its direction.
