Assessment and strengthening of historically registered bridges together with architectural restoration works, is one of the most important items in this project. The route is constructed in early republic time and bridges to be reserved are valuable for this reason. 40 bridges are registered and protected as historical heritage and will be assessed for increased axle load and earthquake affects. Within the large scope of the project, MAPEI products were preferred for the steps described below; MAPE-ANTIQUE I-15 was injected into masonry walls for reinforcement works. MAPE-ANTIQUE ECOLASTIC was used for waterproofing some bridges. MAPE-ANTIQUE STRUTTURALE NHL, MAPENET EM30, MAPENET EM CONNECTOR, MAPEFIX PE WALL were used for the reinforcement and plastering of masonry bridge walls. MAPE-ANTIQUE LC was used for the repair of the existing joints and renders, in harmony with the color and feature of the original masonry mortar. MAPEFER 1K was used to repair and protect bridge reinforcing rods against corrosion. MAPEGROUT THIXOTROPIC E was used for the structural repair of concrete areas. MAPELASTIC SMART was used for waterproofing some bridges. |
