It does not only develop real estate, but also provides a whole new experience with high value-added services to meet the needs of individuals. Founded in 1997, Emaar's activities in Turkey began in 2006. First, Emaar Turkey realized the Tuscan Valley project and then put into service together Rixos and Land of Legends in Antalya in 2016. The company's third and biggest project in Turkey is Emaar Square, which creates a new neighbourhood on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. The project that was established on 66 acres of land in Çamlıca has a mixed-functional structure which interconnects a hotel, an office, a residence and a shopping centre. Emaar Square, with its indoor and outdoor shops, provides a sheltered area while it also has an architecture that does not deprive its visitors of the free, spacious street air. Emaar Square Mall, with an area of 138 thousand 423 square meters, entered into service with 491 separate brands to provide a “wellness” experience to its visitors from Turkey and other countries. MAPEI INTERVENTION MAPEI’s innovative flooring solution Ultratop “Terrazzo” System was preferred for the floors of one of the spacious areas of the mall; Emaar Skyview Terrace. After the necessary substrate preparation was completed, surfaces were primed with Primer SN. Consecutively, the Terrazzo mixture was prepared with Ultratop & selected aggregates and this mixture was poured on the primed surfaces. Then, for anti-stain treatment, Mapecrete Stain Protection was applied on the terrazzo surfaces as the first polishing coat. Mapefloor Finish 630 was applied as the final coat to achieve the required polished appearance.
