Turkey’s first ultra-supercritical power plant Karabiga Power Plant established in Karabiga, Çanakkale. The power plant is designed to produce a gross annual electricity production of 9.900.000 KWh. Two criteria were prioritized for the establishment of the plant: respect for the environment and efficiency. Cenal Karabiga Power Plant received a sustainable coal (clean coal) visa at the Paris 2015 Climate Summit held under the supervision of the United Nations. MAPEI waterproofing solutions, resin flooring products and ceramic line products were used in the project. 11.000 m² of PURTOP 400 M was used for waterproofing of terraces. PRIMER SN was used as primer on floors that will hold heavy machinery and MAPEFLOOR I 302 SL; with its high resistance to chemicals & abrasion and excellent mechanical performance properties, was used as the final layer. Due to its high aesthetic and performance characteristics, ULTRACOLOR PLUS was used on exterior tile joints of the administrative building. ULTRAPLAN ECO 20 was used under the PVC system flooring and MAPEFLEX PU 40 was applied on control joints of the floor. TIXOBOND and KERACOLOR FF was used on all wet areas of the project. |
