Multipurpose plasticiser for concrete with a mild retarding effect. Mapemix R64 is used to manufacture concrete with high fluidity if used in large quantities (consistency class S4 and S5 according to EN 206-1) and a high performance in service. Mapemix R64 performs as a normal plasticiser if used in small quantities and as a superplasticiser if used in larger quantities. Mapemix R64 is suitable for all applications (hot weather concrete, pumpable concrete and mass cast concrete) that require a long maintenance of workability and/or a moderately fast hydration of the cement at early age. Mapemix R64 is a brown-coloured liquid admixture with a base of active polymers in water solution that disperse cement grains. Add Mapemix N60 directly to the mixture after all the other ingredients (cement, aggregate, water). Mapemix R64 can also be diluted into the mixing water beforehand but its superplasticising action is less effective. Coverage 0.3 to 1.2 kg per 100 kg of cement (0.25-1 l). Packaging 200 l drums, 1000 l tanks. Also available in bulk on request.
