Mapei and UCI continue their partnership

The Italian company will be Main Partner of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) until 2028

Mapei has renewed its commitment to the world of cycling by signing a new partnership agreement with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The Italian multinational will be Main Partner of the next three UCI Road World Championships scheduled between 2025 and 2028 and Official Partner of the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships.

The agreement includes the UCI Road World Championships in Kigali, Rwanda next year, in Montreal, Canada in 2026, in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates in 2028, and in Haute-Savoie, France in 2027, where Mapei will be Official Partner of the second edition of the UCI Cycling World Championships, held for the first time in 2023 in Glasgow, which brought together 13 UCI World Championships in one major event.

The renewed collaboration strengthens the bond between the Union Cycliste Internationale and Mapei, underlining the deep connection between the Italian company and cycling. A relationship that began in 1993, when the Milan-based company entered the world of cycling, supporting a professional cycling team until 2002, which was capable of collecting an impressive 654 victories at international level. Since 2008, Mapei has been supporting the UCI Road World Championships, confirming its commitment to this inclusive and international sport. The partnership with the UCI is built on shared values such as perseverance, teamwork and the will to face tough challenges.

During the events, the Mapei logo will be clearly displayed along the entire route, appearing on banners, in award ceremony backdrops, during press conferences and interviews, as well as on all official communication materials. In addition, the company will offer its customers from all over the world an exclusive Hospitality Area, providing a prime location to closely follow the competitions, and involving them in a series of activities to live together the shared passion for cycling.
