Mapei Far East recently celebrated its annual Safety Day, placing a special emphasis this year on mental health and overall well-being. The event, held in collaboration with an external health vendor, provided employees with a holistic experience to better understand and manage their mental health.
The day began with an insightful review of the past year's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement. This set the stage for a mental health talk, which covered valuable insights on recognizing stress, managing anxiety, and maintaining mental resilience in both personal and professional contexts.
Following the talk, a vibrant mini bazaar was organized, offering a variety of activities and products to support mental and physical well-being. Employees explored different stalls featuring Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultations, chiropractic services to alleviate physical muscular tension, and aromatherapy options designed to promote relaxation. There were also booths offering nutritious health foods, encouraging staff to adopt healthier dietary habits.
The event concluded with a highly anticipated lucky draw, adding a sense of excitement and community spirit. Eight fortunate winners walked away with NTUC vouchers worth over $400 each, leaving everyone in high spirits and reinforcing the importance of prioritizing mental health in everyday life.
