Radovi izvedeni Mapei materijalima	Swimming Pool Renovation: Waterproofing and Continuous Coating Background to the project: The swimming pools, located in the Ramón Pignatelli student residence in the city of Zaragoza, had a previous chlorine-rubber waterproofing, whose degradation made it necessary to restore them to their original functionality and aesthetics. With this objective in mind, a waterproofing system with a continuous finish was proposed, capable of improving not only the appearance, but also the durability and efficiency of the facilities. Description of the Interventions: Diamond Grinding of the Surfaces: The process began with the diamond grinding of the surfaces, a mechanical treatment that allows the removal of the previous waterproofing or any defects that may exist. This guarantees a clean, uniform and rough support, ideal for the correct adhesion of the new materials. Waterproofing: After preparing the surface, an advanced waterproofing system was applied using the Purtop Easy DW polyurethane membrane after priming with Primer EP4 Fast, which not only ensures total protection against possible leaks, but also offers continuous waterproofing. The final finish was applied using Mapecoat PU 20 N polyurethane varnish, resistant to immersion and UV rays, which offers a combination of resistance to chemical agents and long-term stability. Protection of perimeter beaches In this intervention, a key aspect was the protection and coating of the perimeter beaches and the swimming pool against splashing, for which the colored acrylic coating Mapecoat TNS Race Track was used. This product, originally designed for high-performance circuits, was perfectly adapted to the needs of the project, providing resistance, safety and aesthetics in those areas of high traffic and exposure to water. The system presents a comprehensive solution that revitalizes swimming pools, improving their functionality and renewing their aesthetics while guaranteeing continuous, optimal and long-lasting waterproofing.
