Universal Base Coat is undercoat/primer for new and well-cured mineral substrates, before applying thin-layered finishing materials; for old mineral and resin-based plasters and old base coats, provided they adhere well, before applying layered finishing from Mapei range. The product can be applies as base layer on old and well-adhered not chalking paintworks or old base coats before applying paints from Mapei range and as base layer with the same colour as the final layer, to help covering of the final layer of paint or layered finishing material in bright, lively colours, which are clean and only offer partial covering. Universal Base Coat is a ready-to-use product, however it may be diluted with 5% of clean water. Application: conventional techniques with a brush, a roller or by spray (air mix).
