MAPEI and industry colleagues pull plane for Ronald McDonald House

June 6, 2024

MAPEI sales representatives for Concrete Restoration Systems (CRS) and Tile & Stone Installation Systems (TSIS) product lines recently joined with architects and engineers from JKRP Architects, Pennoni and O’Donnell & Naccarato to pull a plane to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region.

CRS representative David Marofsky explained, “I was asked by an engineer from Pennoni to sponsor the team comprised of all the three companies above. MAPEI’s CRS works with Pennoni and O’Donnell & Naccarato, but not too much with JKRP, who are primarily architects. I reached out to Sean Canfield, who is a MAPEI FCIS/TSIS architectural representative, to see if he wanted to sponsor as well and he was happy to help. Joe Market, Sean Canfield and I donated money to their team, attended a fun trivia fundraiser, and we also provided MAPEI-logo shirts and hats for the event.”

According to the event Website, each team was required to raise a minimum of $2,500, which would be used to directly benefit the families staying in the Ronald McDonald House. At the plane-pull event, teams raised $183,578.20 for the charity.
