Mapei Australia has officially launched the CUBE system, including the locally developed Mapecube 70, on the Australian market. Introduced during a dedicated industry event in mid-March, the Mapecube range of concrete admixtures enables the production of Low Carbon Concrete (LCC) by reducing clinker content and incorporating higher levels of Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs). These innovative liquid admixtures improve concrete durability while lowering CO₂ emissions. The launch highlights Mapei’s commitment to supporting Australia’s transition toward climate-neutral construction by 2050.

The project included the renovation and retrofitting of structural and seismic upgrading systems on Ponte Ciolo, repair of damaged concrete, construction of new sections in concrete, waterproofing of the deck and new coatings for the surfaces.
