Skatepark in Marbella
Innovative Skatepark in Marbella: Unique Design with MAPEI The city of Marbella wanted an innovative and unique skatepark, and for this they trusted the graffiti artist and urban designer PLAY IN COLORS. The collaboration between the creativity of this artist and the professionalism of MAPEI products, in particular the MAPECOAT TNS range, gave rise to this impressive sports area. MAPEI faced the challenge of offering a durable solution for heavy skate, roller and bicycle traffic. The objective was to find a perfect balance between the slip necessary for skating and the wet anti-slip required by the Technical Code for outdoor spaces. The tasks performed included the preparation of the concrete surfaces by cleaning, diamond dressing and vacuuming. Next, MAPECOAT TNS PRIMER EPW primer and two coats of MAPECOAT TNS EXTREME SF colored epoxy-acrylic resin were applied. |
