Other Nordøyan molo is a pier-like structure situated in the northern parts of Norway along the rough coast line, hammered by incoming waves all year long. A molo is a support wall built to keep the rough seas out of the harbors and create a safe harbor for fishing boats and other vessels.
The wall has been grouted with 24 tons of the Mapei AS product Elementfog Tix which is especially good for grouting stone walls due to its high density, fibre-reinforcement and tixotropic qualities. This product can withstand the elements to great effect.
