ULTRACOAT HT 2K

ULTRACOAT HT 2K is a two-component, water-based, 100% polyurethane, aliphatic varnish for wood floors exposed to intense pedestrian traffic; specifically developed to provide very high resistance to abrasion (footfall, surface scratches, dark skid marks from rubber soles).

Applied as part of a varnishing system with an Ultracoat Premium Base coat, it complies with fire reaction class CFL-S1. May be applied over oils from the Ultracoat Oil Color line for a tough, coloured finish to meet the aesthetic requirements of final users.

Formulated in the Mapei research laboratories, it benefits from a long tradition of Research & Development and a focus on the health and safety of installers and end users: with very low emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), it is certified EC1 R Plus by GEV.

Available in 4 different finishes: 0-10-30-60 Gloss.

Public and commercial settings: thanks to its very high resistance to abrasion, it is suitable for application on parquet in airports, shopping centres, museums, restaurants, etc. in compliance with Önorm C 2354 (elasticity: C; resistance to chemicals: 1B; adhesion: C), Private settings: non-hazardous for installers and end users: zero formaldehyde and very low emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC), certified EC1 R Plus by GEV.

Maintaining the natural colour of parquet: wooden surfaces varnished with Ultracoat High Traffic maintain their natural colour without yellowing, Easy application: prevents unsightly overlaps and roller marks.
