Application steps

Existing cementitious substrate

Levelling mortar
Level off the surface and restore the correct slope by applying the product with a long metal trowel.

Structural adhesive ADESILEX PG4 + QUARZO 0,25 - 0,5 - 0,9 - 1,2 - 1,9
Apply a first coat of product with a smooth trowel.

Wall drain
While the ADESILEX PG4 is still fresh, insert the wall drain and finish off with a second coat of ADESILEX PG4, broadcasting the product with QUARZO 0.5.

Waterproofer MAPELASTIC TURBO - 1st coat
Apply the first coat of product with a notched trowel.

Tape
Apply the elastic tape for fillets and joints on MAPELASTIC TURBO while still fresh.

Reinforcing mesh
Spread the reinforcing mesh on the first coat of MAPELASTIC TURBO while still fresh and finish off with the smooth edge of a trowel.

Waterproofer MAPELASTIC TURBO 2nd coat
Apply a second coat of product with a smooth trowel to cover the mesh. The final thickness must be at least 2 mm.

Adhesive
Apply the adhesive using the double-buttering method with a notched trowel suitable for the type and format of the tiles so that the back of the tiles is sufficiently wetted with adhesive.

Exterior covering

Grout
Once the adhesive has set, carefully fill the grouts to their full depth using a rubber trowel without leaving gaps or steps.

Sealant
Seal the perimeter and expansion joints after inserting MAPEFOAM to set the correct depth.
