Application steps

Old cementitious screed
The cementitious screed must be clean, dry and mechanically strong and have no areas at risk of becoming detached. The level of residual moisture in the screed prior to installation, measured with a carbide hygrometer, must be no higher than 2%.

Primer
Apply the primer with a roller.

Self-levelling compound
Level off the substrate and bring it up to the height of the old screed by applying the product with a large metal trowel or rake.

Adhesive ULTRABOND ECO S LITE 1 K
Apply the adhesive with a Mapei Wood trowel.

Oak wood

Grout
Seal the surface of the floor by applying the product mixed with sawdust from the same flooring material with an ULTRACOAT STEEL SPATULA.

Oil/wax finishing
Finish off the floor by applying the product with an ULTRACOAT ROLLER T3 or ULTRACOAT STEEL SPATULA.

Water-based micro-emulsion based on waxy resin
Finish the flooring by applying the product with a microfiber cloth.
