Application steps

Concrete substrate

Soundproofing system
Unroll and apply the sheets, making sure there is an overlap of at least 5 cm to guarantee continuity in the soundproofing layer.

Soundproofing band
Apply the soundproofing strip along the bottom of the perimeter walls and around any elements passing through the screed.

Soundproofing tape
Seal overlaps between the sheets with the soundproofing tape and press down firmly with a rigid roller.

Floor heating system

Cementitious screed
Position a series of levelling guides, spread the mix, carefully compact the mix and float-finish the surface. Minimum thickness over the heating elements: 3 cm; place metal reinforcing mesh at the mid-point or add MAPEFIBRE ST30 structural fibres.

Adhesive
Apply the adhesive with a suitable trowel.

Prefinished wooden floor

Adhesive
Apply the adhesive used to bond the skirting.

Sealant
Seal the skirting with Silwood in the same colour as the wood flooring.
