ULTRACOAT BINDER is a water-based grout/binder suitable for use with any type of wood flooring, including exotic wood such as Merbau. Grouting and preparing traditional and engineered wood floors and wood floors requiring restoration. Extremely high wetting properties, low viscosity and high bonding power to form a grouting mix with a high residual solid content, while being characterised by excellent workability which is maintained for a long time. Any grout prepared and not used may be stored for a number of days in a sealed plastic tub without losing its trowellability.
When ULTRACOAT BINDER is blended with sawdust, it has excellent adhesion and filling properties and is easy and quick to sand down. ULTRACOAT BINDER is also solvent-free. Perfect for use with Ultracoat and Ultracoat Oil varnishing cycles.
