MAPEGUARD BOARD is a multi-purpose, waterproof and lightweight panel, to be used as a substrate for installing all types of ceramic coverings. The product is used internally, for levelling walls, even as an alternative to cementitious render, and for creating room partitions and furnishing elements, such as shelves, surrounds for sinks and sanitary ware, benches, niches and shower cabins.
MAPEGUARD BOARD is made from an inner layer of highdensity extruded polystyrene, with a multi-layered and completely waterproof membrane to each side.
MAPEGUARD BOARD is waterproof, lightweight, solid and easy to cut and has good insulating properties. The versatility of the panels, available in different thicknesses and easy to cut and assemble, allows to customize any environment, by creating unique, tailor-made projects.
