One-component anti-corrosion cementitious mortar with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle for protecting steel reinforcement
MAPEFER 1K ZERO is a one-component mortar made from cementitious binders, powdered polymers and corrosion inhibitors and is applied to steel reinforcement to prevent the formation of rust and as an adhesion promoter for mortar used to repair concrete.
MAPEFER 1K ZERO complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 (“Products and systems for repairing concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment. General principles for the use of products and systems”) and the minimum requirements of EN 1504-7 (“Reinforcement corrosion protection”).
ADVANTAGES:
- Protection for steel reinforcement
- Promotes adhesion between steel reinforcement and repair mortar
- Promotes adhesion between concrete and repair mortar
- One-component product
- Very low emission of VOC
- Residual greenhouse gas emissions offset through the acquisition of certified environmental credits
