Osmotic, fibre-reinforced, fine-grained white smoothing compound used for conservative restoration and finishing work on concrete, stone and masonry structures. Idrosilex Pronto RPF is used for thick finishing layers on bearing walls in tunnels, even if there are high levels of damp. Also, thanks to the white colour and low dirt retention of Idrosilex Pronto RPF, it is particularly suitable as a protective layer to increase the amount of light inside underground structures (road and railway tunnels, hydraulic works, wells, passages, caverns, etc.). Idrosilex Pronto RPF is a pre-blended powder smoothing compound which forms an excellent bond on substrates made from cement, selected fine-grained aggregates, polyacrylonitrile fibres, special synthetic resins and water-repelling additives with a high waterproofing capacity, including if there is water under low pressure. Idrosilex Pronto RPF is prepared by mixing a 25 kg of the product with approximately 5-5.75 litres of water. It may be applied by spray or with a trowel at a thickness of 1 to 5 mm on perfectly clean, solid substrates saturated with water. Idrosilex Pronto RPF complies with the minimum requirements of EN 1504-3 for non-structural class R2 mortars and the requirements of EN 1504-2 coating (C) according to principles MC and IR for protecting concrete.
