CARBOPLATE SYSTEM è un sistema di rinforzo strutturale FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymers) composto da lamine preformate pultruse in fibra di carbonio e resine epossidiche di incollaggio, il quale, grazie alle sue elevate proprietà meccaniche unite alla sua leggerezza e allo spessore di pochi mm, permette di rinforzare travi e solai senza modificare la rigidezza della struttura e aumentando allo stesso tempo la duttilità dei singoli elementi rinforzati.
CARBOPLATE SYSTEM è utilizzabile per il rinforzo a flessione di travi e travetti in c.a. e legno, per rinforzare strutture bidimensionali come piastre, lastre e serbatoi ad elevato raggio di curvatura, rampe carrabili, solette di ponti e viadotti.
CARBOPLATE SYSTEM sostituisce in modo vantaggioso il tradizionale intervento di placcaggio delle strutture con piastre in acciaio (pesanti e soggette a corrosione) semplificando le operazioni e riducendo i tempi di posa, senza modificare di fatto le dimensioni dell’elemento rinforzato.

CARBOPLATE SYSTEM è coperto da CVT (Certificato di Valutazione Tecnica) rilasciato dal STC del CSLLPP.
CARBOPLATE SYSTEM is an FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymers) structural strengthening system consisting of preformed pultruded carbon fibre plates and epoxy resin adhesive which, thanks to its high mechanical properties combined with its low weight and compact thickness of just a few mm, enables beams and floors to be strengthened without modifying the stiffness of the structure while also increasing the ductility of each of the strengthened elements.
CARBOPLATE SYSTEM may be used for flexural strengthening of floor beams and floor joists.
CARBOPLATE SYSTEM may be used for flexural strengthening of concrete and wooden beams and joists, to strengthen two-dimensional structures such as plates and storage tanks with a large bend-radius, access ramps for vehicles and bridge and viaduct decks.
CARBOPLATE SYSTEM is a highly beneficial way of replacing traditional cladding for structures using steel plates (which are very heavy and suffer from corrosion) while simplifying application procedures and reducing application time, all without modifying the dimensions of the strengthened element.
