Mapei is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Rachele Somaschini for the 2025 season. The Milanese driver, newly crowned Italian Women's Rally Champion for the fourth time, is preparing to write a new chapter in her extraordinary career: her debut in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), in the WRC2 category.

After a path of growth in national and European competitions, Rachele will face the new challenge in the world championship competing in six events on the calendar, including the iconic Rally Monte Carlo, the Rally Sweden and the Rally Italia - Sardegna. Driving the Citroen C3 Rally2 prepared by the F.P.F. Sport Team and accompanied by navigator Nicola Arena, the driver will thus compete for the first time against the best drivers in the world.

"I am grateful to Mapei for believing in me and my project from the very beginning," comments Rachele Somaschini. "Facing the WRC2 is a dream come true and a challenge that will require maximum commitment. With the support of my partners, I am determined to give my best and continue my mission to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis in this new adventure as well."

Since 2016, the driver has been pursuing her #CorrerePerUnRespiro initiative with the goal of raising awareness and collecting funds for cystic fibrosis research, a genetic disease she has suffered from since birth. This effort has found a valuable ally in motor racing, providing important opportunities for visibility.

Thanks to Mapei's support, #CorrerePerUnRespiro will be able to achieve worldwide visibility in 2025, continuing to promote the fight against cystic fibrosis and support scientific research. This partnership represents a perfect combination of sport and social commitment, confirming Mapei as a leader not only in technological excellence but also in supporting causes of great human value.
