Mapei is taking part in the three main events of the sector in October: Saie, Asphaltica and Superfaces. These events dedicated to the world of construction, road paving technologies and hôtellerie, represent three unique opportunities for professionals to discover the latest innovations by Mapei.
Mapei is at Saie, the historic Italian building exhibition, held in Bologna from 9th to 12th October. At stand B37 hall 26 it is possible to discover the latest innovations and construction technologies developed by Mapei to help professionals meet every challenge in the world of construction and design.
The focus on sustainability is moving from individual products to complete solutions such as the range of fully CO2 - offset* products for the repairing and protecting reinforced concrete structures. In order to meet the needs of today’s installers, the formulation of Planitop Smooth & Repair Zero and Planitop Smooth & Repair R4 Zero, cementitious repair mortars, has been renewed to achieve a better consistency and ensure better adhesion during application and greater ease of application at high thickness.
Among the innovations in the field of structural strengthening, is the innovative CRM System - Mapenet EMR: a complete solution with low environmental impact that guarantees high performance to masonry or concrete structures undergoing consolidation or structural strengthening works. The new Mapei fibre-reinforced products certified with CVT (Technical Evaluation Certificate) will also be on show.
The undisputed protagonist of the stand is Mapei PRO, the free digital platform available on the Mapei website, designed to support the work of designers at every stage. Mapei experts are available to accompany visitors to discover the tool and all its advantages and to offer a close look at two useful calculation softwares available on the platform. Mapeshield Software Design is the first free computer tool for sizing galvanic cathodic protection systems using internal and external anodes. Mapei Structural Design is the free and reliable tool for dimensioning strengthening systems on structural elements of existing buildings. A reliable working tool that allows users to obtain and download immediate results in compliance with the latest standards.
An edition focused on technology and sustainability, featuring solutions capable of meeting the modern and increasingly demanding challenges of the construction industry.
Mapei is taking part in Asphaltica 2024, the important international exhibition dedicated to technologies for road paving, safety and infrastructure technologies, held at the Bologna Exhibition Centre from 9 to 12 October. The company will be present at stand A23, in Hall 19, with its exhibition bus and a wide range of innovative and sustainable solutions.
Among the technologies showcased, those for the construction of new-generation road surfaces stand out. From asphalts for dynamic and static recharging of electric vehicles, developed in collaboration with Polystrada, to bituminous reinforcement membranes for more durable infrastructures. In addition, Mapei is presenting Mapefibre FPC Plus, cellulose fibres for porous asphalt paving, and some products from the Mapecoat TNS range, for resistant surfacing for both pedestrian and road surfaces, even on draining substrates. All these solutions aim to improve the durability and sustainability of road surfaces.
The absolute stars of the stand are the modernisation works at the Monza Circuit, a project in which Mapei has played a key role. By contributing to the renovation of the track, the installation of new kerbs and the upgrading of the subways, the Milan-based company demonstrates its ability to provide high-performance solutions for high-level sports infrastructures. To learn more about this reference, Mapei is organising a round table on Thursday 10 October at 3pm in room 2, hall 19, entitled: 'The challenge of sustainable performance in the temple of speed'. The meeting, moderated by Carlo Vanzini, commentator and editor-in-chief of Sky Sport F1, will feature contributions from Francesco Cerutti, Product Manager Road Engineering at Mapei, Gilberto Del Zoppo, R&D Leader Road Engineering at Mapei, and experts from other companies involved in the renovation of the Monza racing circuit.
The Mapei stand at Asphaltica 2024 also stands out for its interactive exhibition area, where visitors can explore the latest applications in heavy and light infrastructure projects, such as motorways, airports and city squares. The display includes information panels and samples of products such as Mapecoat TNS Paint for drainage surfaces and Mapegrout Drain Fill NV, a superfluid mortar for use in road structures.
Mapei's participation in Asphaltica represents a further step in the company's commitment to sustainable and innovative technological solutions, supporting projects that improve mobility and road safety, with an eye on the environment thanks to the increasing use of recycled materials and cold technologies.
Mapei is present at Superfaces 2024, the event dedicated to innovative surfaces and materials, taking place in Rimini from 9th to 11th October. It is an integral part of InOut, the event for all contractors, both indoor and outdoor.
At Stand 18 in Hall B3, visitors can discover Mapei's solutions for architecture and interior design, tailored to meet the needs of the hospitality and residential sectors. The company will be exhibiting a complete range of systems for laying LVTs, textile coverings and decorative wall coverings, focusing on the specific challenges of rapid renovation and the creation of comfortable and functional spaces.
Mapei offers a range of sustainable innovations combining durability, high performance and low environmental impact, ideal for the modern hospitality sector and all its environments. Mapei's solutions are designed to be installed without the need for demolition: all the products can be applied on existing surfaces, significantly reducing intervention times, guaranteeing rapid, inconvenience-free renovation. New products include fast, high-performance technologies for bathrooms and wet areas, which ensure rapid execution without compromising aesthetics. Additionally, the stand features solutions for the installation of carpets and textile coverings, ETICS and waterproofing of terraces, swimming pools and roofs.
In the area adjacent to the Mapei stand, Profilpas - a Mapei Group company specialising in the production of profiles for floors, wall coverings and installation accessories - presents Mapei Color, a new range of finishes created to match the colours of Mapei grouts. they also showcase design bathroom systems with practical and functional drains and profiles, new accessories for the installation of substrates for outdoor raised floors and solutions for customising skirting boards and profiles.
