For the fourth consecutive year, Mapei is a protagonist at MyPlant&Garden, the most important professional trade fair dedicated to the green and landscape sector, taking place from February 19 to 21, 2025,  at Fiera Milano Rho. At booth A01, Hall 20, Mapei will present a wide range of innovative and sustainable outdoor solutions designed to meet the needs of designers, companies and end users.

Architectural paving for living spaces

Many architectural paving solutions will be on show at the fair combining aesthetics, durability and sustainability, in compliance with UNI 11714-1. First and foremost, binders for elastic pervious paving, ideal for sealing joints in driveways, squares or other spaces made with blocks, setts and cobblestones. In addition to the classic Mapestone Joint, a solvent-free polyurethane resin, Mapestone Joint Ghost takes a prominent spot at the stand. This cutting-edge silane-terminated polymer-based product is free of isocyanates, moisture-resistant and characterised by rapid cross-linking, which allows paving to be ready for use in extremely short times. For even faster drying requirements, Mapestone Joint Ghost Plus is available. For pervious paving, Mapei offers Mapestone Drain, a high-performance premixed mortar ideal for exterior screeds subjected to foot or light traffic. This product provides high resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, permeable and durable surfaces and high mechanical strength. Completing the range are Mapestone GR-Eco Fill and Mapestone GR7  grouts with natural fibres, developed for grouting interlocking blocks , terracotta bricks or porcelain and natural stone floors, respectively. Both products are designed to withstand light pedestrian and vehicular traffic, offering eco-friendly, high-performance solutions. There is also the Mapei Color Paving line, dedicated to architectural concrete floors, which combines aesthetic customisation and high performance, integrating perfectly into any architectural context.

Colours and performance for sports and urban settings

Mapei will also be presenting the Mapecoat TNS range, developed for the protection and colouring of urban, pedestrian and sports surfaces. The line features high performance, fast drying and a wide range of colour shades. The first solution on display is Mapecoat TNS Base Coat Extreme, a fast-drying, two-component epoxy-acrylic primer designed for the preparation of sports surfaces,  car traffic and pedestrian-bike  areas, ensuring resilience and flatness even in difficult weather conditions. For surfaces with high footfall, Mapei presents Mapecoat TNS Extreme coloured topcoating, a two-component resin ideal for protecting surfaces also exposed to vehicular traffic. Completing the system is Mapecoat TNS Extreme SF, specifically for sports, bicycle and driveway environments, which provides long-lasting protection even under intensive use.

Products from the Mapecoat TNS range are also reliable and durable tools for expressing creativity and design, as demonstrated by the many basketball courts and murals created by leading street artists. On Wednesday, Feb. 19 and Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Mapei booth, Francesca Cassani, paint artist and graphic designer, will create the graphics of a mini-basketball court during a live painting session, showing how Mapei solutions are able to combine functionality and artistic applications, opening up new possibilities for creative use.

What's new from Profilpas

At the expo, Mapei is also dedicating a space to Profilpas, a Mapei Group company specialising in the production of profiles for floors, coverings and installation systems. Among the products on display, we find PP level Duo Maxi, the complete range of supports for external raised floors such as balconies or terraces, capable of satisfying every installation requirement, and PP level Grid, the anti-breakage grid that offers maximum stability for raised floors even in the event of ceramic tile breakage. PP level Grid adapts to different formats and orientations, offering flexibility, reliability and maximum safety.

The use of open spaces has deeply changed in recent years, reflecting a cultural and social evolution that cannot be ignored. By bringing its offerings to MyPlant&Garden 2025 combining research, quality and attention to the environment, Mapei confirms its leading role in proposing advanced technologies for outdoor, responding to these new needs with innovative and sustainable solutions.
