Mapei, a global leader of chemical products for the building industry, through its subsidiary Mapei Canada (Mapei Inc.), has completed the acquisition of Diaplas, a company specializing in manufacturing profiles and trims for floors and walls, based in Laval, Québec.
Diaplas has been a key local player in the complementary tile accessories market since 1989. The company has one manufacturing site and administrative office in Laval. This acquisition aligns with Mapei's vision of providing comprehensive solutions for the construction and industrial sectors, ensuring a more robust and diverse product offering.

In addition to the main site in Laval, Québec, recently expanded with a new production facility and warehouse extension, Mapei already has a presence in the territory with production facilities in Brampton, Ontario, in Maskinongé, Québec, in Delta, British Columbia, and in Calgary, Alberta, with a distribution center. With the acquisition of Diaplas' specialized production center for Mapei comes new opportunities for growth and development throughout North America.
