Model 231 is aimed at promoting and reinforcing a corporate culture based on ethical values, fairness and transparency in business and corporate operations, thereby preventing any risk of potential unlawful conduct in relation to the Decree.
It consists of a set of rules, principles and procedures for all Mapei people and business partners, which govern the Company’s operating and management and the ways in which it interacts with the outside world, in order to prevent the committing or attempted committing of offences referred to the Decree for which the Company may be liable.

As an organisation focused on exporting our values and promoting a culture of compliance, we promote ethical and responsible corporate behaviour, operating in compliance with the regulations, laws, standards and guidelines in force in the various countries in which we operate.
Therefore, Mapei’s Customers/Distributors shall not sell, export or re-export any Mapei products to Russia or Belarus or for the use in Russia or Belarus, directly or indirectly. If Mapei’s Customers/Distributors fail to comply, may incur in the sanctions detailed in the Mapei Trade Control Policy (Mapei TCP).
