Mapei will be showcasing sustainable systems for the health sector at Healthcare Estates Exhibition - 8-9 October - at Manchester Central from Stand E34. They will include systems for internal and external application, from floor and wall surfaces – including internal and external wall coatings, products for resilient flooring and for floor and wall tile installation, including cleaning and maintenance - to waterproofing, concrete repair, roofing, resin flooring and car park solutions.
At the two-day conference, Mapei will present solutions featuring fast-track products with low emissions. These will include HACCP-protocol approved products for all settings, including operating theatre & diagnosis rooms, patient wards, reception areas, corridors, steps & stairs, kitchens and bathrooms.
Recent projects will also be on display, showing examples of Mapei applications worldwide. From the UK, these will include the new Forest of Dean Community Hospital, featuring an extensive resilient floor installation completed with sustainable floor preparation products and adhesives, each featuring EMICODE: EC1 Plus formulations. The historic Broomfield Hospital in Essex will also feature, presenting external surface refurbishment works within the courtyard area, original external walls and stairwell. Mapei products specified included water-repellent coatings, mortar and thermal insulation.
