In support of the 2024 Bridges Conference Sustainability & Resilience focus, Mapei will be presenting its Zero Line at this year’s Bridges 2024, on Stand C09. Zero Line – introduced in the UK last year - now includes six building products, from cementitious mortars to pre-blended grout. It provides contractors and specifiers with durable, high-performance solutions, with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle.[1]
CO2 emissions - measured throughout the life cycle of products from the Zero line in 2024 using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, verified and certified with EPDs - have been offset through reforestation projects and protection of biodiversity. The Zero Line portfolio demonstrates Mapei’s commitment to the planet, to people and to biodiversity.
Mapei’s Zero Line construction products span from protecting reinforcement rods and repairing surfaces and structures, to anchoring applications using thixotropic, hi-flow mortars with normal-set or rapid-set properties. Products on show at Bridges 2024 will include: Mapefer 1K ZERO anti-corrosion cementitious mortar, Planitop Smooth & Repair ZERO rapid-set thixotropic mortar, Mapegrout Thixotropic ZERO and Mapegrout Hi-Flow ZERO fibre-reinforced compensated shrinkage mortars, Planitop Smooth & Repair R4 ZERO rapid-set thixotropic R4-class structural cementitious mortar and Mapefill ZERO fluid mortar with positive internal tension. Other Zero Line products will be introduced during 2024.
