Congratulations Paul

Congratulations to our very own Paul Shaw from everyone at Mapei UK for completing Sunday's TCS London Marathon in 5 hours 55 minutes and 41 seconds. Following the event Paul told us "It was my first, and last, marathon and I'm still buzzing. The runners, supporters and entertainment en-route were amazing. But more than that, the opportunity to raise funds for a local charity makes me feel proud."

Despite carrying a knee injury Paul managed to complete the 26.2 mile course, raising nearly £800 for the Action Heart cardiovascular rehabilitation unit at Russells Hall hospital in #Dudley. He added "I have a couple of friends and family members that have been on the Action Heart cardiovascular rehabilitation programme, so in that sense it is close my heart."

Such an amazing achievement, it’s an inspiration to us all Paul, well done!!
