June marks a busy month in the tiling calendar, with the Tiling Show and TTA Industry Awards Gala Dinner & Presentations taking place on Friday 24 June. This year, Mapei is once again a Gold Sponsor and will be exhibiting at the show - and is short-listed in two industry award categories.
Ahead of the evening event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, The Tiling Show will provide the opportunity for visitors to network with suppliers and catch up on the latest product trends and innovations. Mapei will be hosting a series of demonstrations and will be showcasing new products at the event, including Kerapoxy Easy Design.
Within the two award categories, Mapei is short-listed for Best Innovation and Excellence in Marketing. For Best Innovation, it is short-listed for the UltraCare range, which is a new series of treatments for cleaning, maintaining and protecting surfaces. The new range was developed to help ensure correct maintenance whilst simplifying regimes and caters for all surface types and maintenance stages, from initial builders clean to periodic deep cleaning. The second nomination, for Excellence in Marketing, is in recognition of Mapei’s campaign to raise awareness of the Mapei Academy - a training facility for tiling contractors, distributors and retailers. The multi-channel campaign included OOH, radio, press and social media advertising for the promotion of Mapei Academy in person training and ‘At Home with Mapei’ – the online series that was quickly established to bridge the gap, and support the industry, during unprecedented times.
