On the 27th October, The Commonwealth Games announced the marathon and cycle race routes. The marathon event will take place in Birmingham city centre, with the cycling race staged in Warwickshire. The cycling time trial route will be in Wolverhampton with the triathlon events in Sutton Coldfield.
To mark this special occasion riders from Halesowen Cycling Club, David, Kinga and Will joined Councillor Simon Phipps, at the Duncan Edwards statue in Dudley. Mapei have a proud and long heritage with cycling, that extends to our sponsorship of this club. We are excited these events are being held in the West Midlands and are looking forward to the local community benefitting from them
