Rothorn Sörenberg

Location icon Sörenberg, Switzerland
The rock, especially in the last third towards Eisee, is cleaned in the first phase and loose areas are removed. The rock is sealed with a layer of shotcrete so that no more stones can fall down. At the tunnel exit towards the Eisee, large drop spots can be observed. These are sealed with Mapelastic TU System and drained into a trench using a half shell or dimpled sheeting. This prevents ice from forming overhead and ensures the safety of winter sports enthusiasts.
