Multipurpose latex additive for mortar and cementitious adhesive.

WHERE TO USE

Before laying tiles for interior, exterior walls and floors, mix the product with cementitious adhesives and use it as tile back-buttering primer, to enhance the bonding strength between back of the tile and tile adhesive. By such priming, double-sided tile adhesive application can be ensured.

Some application examples

•Treat the back of those tiles with low water-absorbency to reduce the adhesion strength caused by the release agent on the back of tile.

•Tile back-buttering treatment for wall and floor, internally and externally. After mixing with C1 graded tile adhesive, the paste can be adopted for fixing lower water-absorbent tiles.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Planicrete SP1 is a white to slightly green multi-functional synthetic rubber emulsion. Before application, it can be mixed with Keraset to obtain a primer material with high mechanical strength. After dried, the mix possesses technical characteristics including excellent adhesion, concentrated stress, anti-freezing and thawing cycles, resistance to temperature changes, effectively reducing the adhesion effect of the release agent on the back of the tile.

CONSUMPTION

Planicrete SP1: Keraset = 10kg : 25kg, thickness is around 1mm, the mixture consumption is around 1.7kg/㎡.

STORAGE

Planicrete SP1 can be stored for 12 months in the original packing, in a dry and cool place. Protect from frost.
