WHERE TO USE
Base coat for cementitious, lime or gypsum-based substrates, which have never been painted or with previous paints, as long as they are not degraded or chalking. Dursilite Base Coat AP is also ideal for plasterboard surfaces or modern building systems.
DESCRIPTION
Smooth wall undercoat for professional use, based on modified acrylic resins in aqueous dispersion and selected fillers. It evens out the absorption of the substrate and promotes the adhesion of water-based paints and wall enamels. It stands out for its high hiding power and capacity to even out surfaces. It is used when it is necessary to hide previous dark-coloured paints or even out chromatic unevenness. It can be coloured to match the finish and it is particularly indicated in case of bright colours with limited hiding power. These characteristics, together with the ease of application, make it essential in case of uneven substrates.

COVERAGE
Coverage is heavily influenced by the absorption and the roughness of the substrate and according to the application technique used.
Under normal conditions, coverage is generally 5 -8 m² per litre, per one coat of product.
