This presentation will give participants a general understanding of proper application and maintenance of elastomeric waterproofing coatings for traffic-bearing areas. Presented with a systems approach, the Webinar will also go over different options for drive lanes, parking stalls and pedestrian-only areas, as well as UV-light resistance, while incorporating MAPEI deck-coating systems.

Topics discussed will include:

• The basics of elastomeric waterproofing coatings.
• The basic preparation and repairs that are needed before application.
• The basic materials and methods that are used to install two-component polyurethane systems.
• Common issues and remedies during the application of a polyurethane deck-coating system.
• MAPEI deck-coating systems (Mapefloor^™ and Planiseal^® applications).

Tim Panek Tim began his career in the construction industry in 1998 as an Inside Sales Representative. He then advanced to roles in Outside Sales, Product Specialist, Regional Manager and Strategic Account Manager across various companies within the industry. In 2011, he began specializing in concrete restoration. In March 2024, he joined MAPEI as a Business Development Leader for Parking Products.
