Proround M is an aluminum or stainless-steel cove-shaped profile that works as a joint between floors and walls. The design eliminates the 90-degree angle to prevent dirt (a source of bacteria) from building up, creating a curved surface that makes daily cleaning easier and more efficient. The stainless-steel version is recommended for locations where hygiene is important, such as hospitals, industrial kitchens, food manufacturing plants and so forth. Specifically, AISI 316 stainless steel is recommended for environments subject to greater chemical stress and in coastal areas. The Proround M range also includes GINI/, a hygienic perimeter joint with a rubber insert able to absorb expansion and contraction movements.
