For interior or exterior walls

MAPEI’s Manufactured Stone Veneer Systems (MSVS) line includes mortars that meet ANSI A118.4 and A118.15, with the superior performance necessary for foolproof installations. These mortars can be used in any climate from hot and humid areas in the Southeast… to Northern Canada where freeze/thaw resistance is important. MAPEI’s MSVS mortars are ideal setting-bed mortars and, because they don’t contribute to efflorescence, there are no efflorescence-related callbacks or customer frustrations. MAPEI mortars also offer the peace of mind in knowing that CO2 emissions are fully offset in the products’ life cycle.

MapeLevel EasyWDG tile-leveling system for flat tile surfaces

March 25, 2022

Laval, Quebec – MAPEI Inc. introduces its MapeLevel EasyWDG System, which provides quality and consistency in tile finishes by reducing the effects caused by slight variations in substrates and tiles. MapeLevel EasyWDG System has been designed to be applied entirely by hand. The ergonomic shape of the MapeLevel EasyWDG wedge allows it to be inserted smoothly and quickly into the MapeLevel EasyWDG Spacer M clips, and the wedge’s thin milling increases precision during the leveling of tile edges.

MapeLevel EasyWDG System is intended to give you that flat surface each time. The MapeLevel EasyWDG wedge is made of recycled plastic, or polypropylene, and is reusable,” said Sonya Moste, Product Manager Crack-Isolation and Sound-Control Membranes.

Not only is MapeLevel EasyWDG System convenient and fast to use, but also the uncomplicated wedge removal allows for the easy cleaning of fresh mortar from around the clips. The system features five differently colored spacers that correspond to joint widths ranging from 1/16" to 3/16" (1.5 to 5 mm).

Although the system is designed specifically for hand application (each wedge features a thin, knurled edge for smooth and accurate application), there is a tool available to help with application. Use MapeLevel EasyWDG Pliers when the use of a tool is preferred for installation.

Quick and easy to apply, MapeLevel EasyWDG System’s wedge and clips can prevent tile lippage and promote a flat tile surface. For more information about MAPEI’s MapeLevel EasyWDG System, visit https://www.mapei.com/ca/en-ca/products-and-solutions/products/detail/mapelevel-easywdg.
