For interior or exterior walls

MAPEI’s Manufactured Stone Veneer Systems (MSVS) line includes mortars that meet ANSI A118.4 and A118.15, with the superior performance necessary for foolproof installations. These mortars can be used in any climate from hot and humid areas in the Southeast… to Northern Canada where freeze/thaw resistance is important. MAPEI’s MSVS mortars are ideal setting-bed mortars and, because they don’t contribute to efflorescence, there are no efflorescence-related callbacks or customer frustrations. MAPEI mortars also offer the peace of mind in knowing that CO2 emissions are fully offset in the products’ life cycle.

MAPEI Inc. announces sponsorship of Kelowna Rockets

February 7, 2022

Laval, Quebec – MAPEI Inc. is proud to announce a long-term sponsorship commitment to the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League (WHL). In its quarter-century-plus history, the Rockets organization has cultivated such notable star National Hockey League players as Leon Draisaitl, Shea Weber, Jamie Benn, Tyson Barrie, Luke Schenn, Kyle McLaren and many more.

Representing the third-largest city in the province, the Rockets share both the MAPEI Group’s winning attitude and its family-business model. With no less than 17 victory banners hanging from the rafters of the team’s home arena, Prospera Place, the franchise is majority-owned and operated by the Hamilton family – Bruce Hamilton is President/GM/Governor and WHL board chair, brother Gavin Hamilton is VP of Business and Anne-Marie Hamilton is Director of Marketing.

MAPEI Inc. General Manager Marco Roma was delighted to be able to support Canada’s official sport with this new MAPEI partnership.

“Canada and hockey are so tightly connected. It’s with great pride that we know MAPEI is helping to foster the next generation of hockey talent, and be a part of maintaining the level of hockey excellence Canada is so well known for around the world,” Roma said.

“In addition to our existing sponsorship of the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, this means MAPEI is now supporting CHL hockey on both sides of the country,” added Yoanna Pergantis, MAPEI Inc. Marketing Director.

About the WHL and the Kelowna Rockets

The WHL is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). Its mission is to develop hockey by supporting its elite players between the ages of 16 and 21, both academically and athletically within a safe and enriching environment in order to prepare them for their adult life. The Rockets have represented Kelowna, BC, since 1995, when the team relocated from Tacoma, Washington, USA. Since then, they have won four WHL championships, each time earning a berth in the prestigious CHL championship Memorial Cup Tournament. They won the Memorial Cup once, in 2004.
