Ready-to-order profiles and trims now available from MAPEI

Laval, Quebec – MAPEI Canada is proud to now offer a full range of ready-to-order profiles for external corners, decorative listellos, transition profiles for floors of different or equal height and stair-nosings – all manufactured right here in Canada.

The full list of ready-to-order, complementary profiles for floors and coverings are:

• Diaplas Decorative Listello, designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of ceramic surfaces, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to any tile installation.
• Diaplas Regular L-Shaped, aluminum tile trims are used to protect and embellish any angle or edge of ceramic tile lay-outs where a professional and luxury finish is desired.
• Diaplas PVC Regular L-Shaped, high-quality mouldings that offer both protection and embellishment for angles and endpoints in tile layouts.
• Diaplas Regular Rounded, external aluminum corner profiles conceived to realize a bullnose effect between a ceramic surface and another surface at a lower level.
• Diaplas Economic L-Shaped, aluminum profiles for outside edges of ceramic tile layouts, designed thinner than our Regular L-Shaped range for cost savings.
• Diaplas Economic Rounded, aluminum profiles for outside corners of tiles, designed thinner than our Regular Rounded range for cost savings.
• Diaplas Flexible L-Shaped, bendable profile conceived to complement the creativity of designers and architects, providing decorative joints between floorings of different materials, rounded and spiral edges, and other sophisticated ideas.
• Diaplas Transition, conceived to realize a slope of 30 degrees between a ceramic surface and another surface of an inferior level by creating a smooth transition.
• Diaplas T-Shaped, precision-engineered profiles that offer a seamless solution for creating a joint cover between two floor surfaces of equal height, particularly in areas where expansion is anticipated.
• Diaplas T-Shaped for Vinyl, a profile specifically engineered to address the unique needs of vinyl flooring installations, providing a seamless solution for creating joint covers between two floor surfaces of the same height, particularly in areas where expansion is anticipated.
• Diaplas Tile-to-Carpet, specifically designed to facilitate the juxtaposition from a ceramic tile surface to a carpeted area.
• Diaplas Stair Nose, a high-quality, aluminum profile that combines a unique, modern look with the practicality of protection for tiled stairs.

This new ready-to-order line of profiles and trims comes after the acquisition of Diaplas by MAPEI Canada earlier this year. Diaplas had been a key local player in the complementary tile accessories market since 1989. MAPEI Canada is proudly maintaining the legacy Diaplas manufacturing site and administrative office in Laval, Quebec, in keeping with the MAPEI Group’s global vision of localizing production and management to contribute to the development of local communities.
