MAPEI Structural Design: the new calculation software for structural strengthening projects

Laval, Quebec, June 7, 2022 - MAPEI Structural Design is the new software created by MAPEI and developed in collaboration with Eucentre, an international IT and research center operating in the field of seismic and structural engineering. Following the resounding success of its initial launch for the Italian construction industry last December, MAPEI Inc. is excited to be bringing it to Canada as well.

Thanks to MAPEI Structural Design, accurate and reliable calculations are performed for structural strengthening projects. Available free of charge on the MAPEI website, this web-based application is designed to simplify the work of structural engineers, and can be accessed from the cloud via PCs, tablets and smartphones, without having to be installed. In fact, the calculations made by MAPEI Structural Design are based on the latest international reference standards and can be carried out in the office – sitting at your PC – and then saved to your very own personal account. The project can then be modified or reviewed while on site at any time through a smartphone or tablet. To access the software you just need your log in details for the MAPEI website where you can always access the most recent version, available in Italian, English or Spanish. A French version is in the works for release in the Fall.

The software allows using systems from the following product ranges for structural strengthening of reinforced concrete and masonry elements: MapeWrap (FRP fabrics), Carboplate (CFRP plates), Planitop HPC (ultra-high strength cementitious products) and Mapegrid & Planitop HDM (FRCM).
