Established in 1974, Pantai Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur was the pioneer private hospital in Malaysia. Starting off with just 68 beds and 20 medical specialists, the hospital expanded to become a 331-bed facility, boasting a full array of medical specialties and over 180 medical specialists. Strategically positioned in the affluent suburb of Bangsar, Pantai Medical Centre Kuala Lumpur has built a long-standing reputation as a medical centre of choice for local and international patients who seek premier private healthcare services. In 2012, construction work started on a new 12-storey block which would increase the number of beds in the hospital to 450 and double its number of clinics to 200. Besides refreshing its outpatient medical services and offering various medical specialisations like obesity and diabetes, this expansion project helped to maintain Pantai Hospital’s position as a leading healthcare services provider. MAPEI started work on this project during the early design stage. Mapei Products: Aquaflex Roof MY+Mapetex GRP 225, Mapeplan TM 15 + Mapeplan TD, Mapelastic + Mapenet 150, Planiseal 288 |
