In line with the type of flooring to be installed the requirement was to have a low VOC complete system including levellers, primers, moisture barriers and adhesives.
Mapei Ultra-fast hardening self-levelling smoothing compound ULTRAPLAN ECO was used for the interior levelling of the new substrates. ECO PRIM T PLUS primer was used for treating absorbent and non-absorbent substrates before applying levelling compounds. This primer was specifically requested because of its very low emission of volatile organic compounds. MAPEPROOF 1K TURBO moisture curing and rapid drying polyurethane surface membrane were used to waterproof and create a moisture vapour barrier under the flooring. ULTRABOND ECO S955 1K adhesive was used to bond parquetry floors. |
