Air entraining admixture for concrete

Mapeair AE35 is a surfactant admixture to entrain micro air bubbles in concrete. Mapeair AE35 complies to AS178.1 as Type AEA, air-entraining.

Mapeair AE35 may be used to great advantage if used in the following applications:

durable concrete exposed to thermal fluctuations around freezing point;
lean concrete (cement content less than 250 kg/m³) with a low fine sand content for pumping;
concrete rheological modification to improve homogeneity (less segregation), workability, pumpability and concrete bleed characteristics.

Colour: colourless
Density according to ISO 758 (g/cm³): 1.01 ± 0.02 at +20°C
Classification to AS1478.1 Type AEA
Consumption: used at a rate of from 10 to 120 ml/m of concrete
Storage: up to 12 months in sealed containers (protected from frost)
Packaging: available in bulk quantities, 1000 L tanks, 200 L drums and 25 kg cans.
